Infernal Perfect World - Terms of Service

We provide a fun and safe environment for players of all nationality's to enjoy our server. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. If you encounter a player violating any of the rules laid out below, please report them. Be aware that false reports created for the sole intention of targeting a player or faction you personally dislike, also violate our rules and may result in you being punished.

Behaviour that negatively impacts other players experience, such as insults, flaming, or abuse, is prohibited. We expect players to show respect and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Violations of these guidelines, as determined by player reports and the Infernal Perfect world staff, will lead to account or gameplay restrictions.

The Terms of Use apply to:
- The server and in-game chat channels
- Official Discord server
- Official Telegram channel
- Official Facebook page
- Official VK page
- Official YouTube account
- Official Instagram page

The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behaviour is expected of you and what behaviour you can expect from other Infernal Perfect World community members.

We cannot guarantee that the server will meet your needs and wishes.
We reserve the right to develop and release content updates solely at our discretion.
We reserve the right to suspend your access to our services at any time as much as necessary to keep a fun experience for all players.
We reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis. The action we take may be more lenient or more severe than those listed under each category.

1. Player Interaction​

1.1 Insults / Harassment

This category includes both clear and masked language in posts, signatures, and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Contain rude expressions, vulgar imagery, obscene jokes
• Represent other players, groups of people, in particular staff, in an offensive manner
• Incite to insult other players, groups of people, in particular staff

When participating in communication of any kind (in-game, voice communication, discord, telegram, forums), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others. Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions.

One of these measures will be taken for a violation in a common/trade/world chat:
- Mute for 30 minutes
- Mute for 3 hours
- Mute for 24 hours
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.2 Religion / Politics

This category includes both clear and masked language in posts, signatures, and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Negatively portray major religions or religious figures
• Negatively portray major political figures or political groups

One of these measures will be taken for a violation in a common/trade/world chat:
- Mute for 30 minutes
- Mute for 3 hours
- Mute for 24 hours
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.3 Extreme Sexuality / Violence

This category includes language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts
• Refer to extremely violent real life actions
• Pornography

One of these measures will be taken for a violation in a common/trade/world chat:
- Mute for 30 minutes
- Mute for 3 hours
- Mute for 24 hours
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.4 Real-Life Threats

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game world

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 1 day.
- Account ban for 3 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.5 Advertising

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Any non-server related businesses, organizations, or websites
• Any mention of other private servers and third-party resources
• Any public discussion or criticism of other private servers

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 24 hours.
- Account ban for 3 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.6 Spamming / Trolling

This category includes:

• Sending non-constructive and pointless messages
• Stirring up drama
• Spamming in all caps
• Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure nonsense
• Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
• Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
• Creating threads about existing topics
• Creating a separate thread about an existing topic for further discussion in more than one forum
• Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms, wasting staff members time

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Mute for 30 minutes
- Mute for 3 hours
- Mute for 24 hours
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.7 Insulting Relatives

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Insulting / Degrading / Disrespecting / Mocking or otherwise being hurtful towards another player's relatives

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Mute for 2 hours
- Mute for 12 hours
- Mute for 3 days
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.8 Inciting Drama / Negativity / Demotivating players

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Encourage other players to stop playing on the server
• Publicly leave the server, demotivating other players
• Continually crying and being negative about the server
• Any public calls to violate the rules

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 24 hours.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.9 Doxing players, sharing real life information

This category includes:

• Releasing any real-life information about other players

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 1 day.
- Account ban for 3 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.10 Slander / Defamatory Remarks

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Spreading rumours about the server or staff
• Creating false claims about the server or staff to stir up drama and negativity
• Discrediting staff team or the server

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 5 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.11 Illegal Drugs or Illegal Activities

This category includes language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Reference to abusing illegal drugs
• Reference to performing illegal activities

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 5 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

1.12 Racial / National Hatred or Slurs

This category includes both clear and masked language in posts, signatures, and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

• Promote racial/national hatred
• Are recognized as a racial/national slur
• Allude to a symbol of racial/national hatred

One of these measures will be taken for a violation in a common/trade/world chat:
- Mute for 3 hours
- Mute for 24 hours
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

2. Staff Interaction​

2.1 Interfering with staff members work

This category includes:

• Intentional interference or distraction of Infernal Perfect World staff members

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 24 hours.
- Account ban for 3 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

2.2 Disrespectful / Rude / Negative Attitude

This category includes:

• Disrespectful attitude towards a staff member of Infernal Perfect World
• An impolite address to a staff member of Infernal Perfect World
• Contacting a staff member of Infernal Perfect World repeatedly for no reason

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 2 hours.
- Account ban for 5 hours.
- Account ban for 12 hours.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

2.3 Criticizing and discussing punishments publicly

This category includes:

• Criticism and discussing disciplinary measures taken against yourself or another player. If you have an issue with a punishment dealt to yourself or another player then create a ticket in Discord or on our Forums, only in this way will we consider your request.

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 2 hours.
- Account ban for 5 hours.
- Account ban for 12 hours.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

2.4 Impersonating an Infernal Perfect World Staff member

This category includes:

• Passing yourself off as an Infernal Perfect World staff member to post false information
• Introducing yourself to other players as a friend or relative of an Infernal Perfect World staff member

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 24 hours.
- Account ban for 3 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

2.5 Sharing private information

This category includes:

• Distributing any kind of screenshots, logs, chat or otherwise shared to you by an Infernal Perfect World staff member as part of a support ticket.

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

3. Account, Scams and Territory War​

3.1 Real Money Trading

This category includes:

• Purchase of an account or character valuables for in-game or non-game currency or values, including cash and other methods of payment
• Selling an account or character valuables for in-game or non-game currency or values, including cash and other methods of payment
• Advertising that you are selling or buying accounts/in-game valuables for cash or anything else
• Discussing either purchasing or selling of in-game items, accounts, farming services or anything else related to real money trading

Selling or buying accounts for any currency is not allowed.
If you break this rule and buy an account, then realise you've been scammed - Staff will not help you recover your account, because you violated this rule and trusted the scammer.

However, you can share your account details with other players at your own risk.
But keep in mind that if you stop playing that account you have shared out, we may also regard this as account selling.
If this happened, and your account was banned, if you can prove that you did not sell your account for real money, contact an Infernal Perfect World staff member.

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Permanent account ban

3.2 Scamming

This category includes various violations of service agreements:

• Non-compliance with in-game agreements between players
• Scam by impersonating another person and misleading the player
• Inappropriate names in trade shops: the shop must contain all the goods mentioned in the name, and their cost should not exceed the difference of 20% from what is in the name
• Overlap of players' shops with various in-game objects: character model, battle or mount pets, etc

Each incident will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
When submitting a complaint, the player must attach a full screenshot of the game, where the staff will be able to easily see what the issue is.

3.3 Cheating the TW system

This category includes:

• Declaring fake bids, or bids with no intention of winning
• Manipulating TWs in various ways
• Participating in TWs with an alt guild

Territory Wars are meant to be taken seriously. Any attempt by guilds to "cheat" the system by entering the map for the sole purpose of abusing the reward will be limited. The rule applies only to leaders and bidding. If we have any suspicions about a guild that is trying to get on the map, or we notice any connection with another guild, we will contact the leader ourselves to confirm whether they can really be qualified to participate in TWs or not.

This rule does not apply to you in any way if you are a regular player: you can still participate in TWs for several guilds if they are qualified.

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Warning for the leader
- Blocking the leader's account for 14 days
Each guild that is going to participate in the bidding and enter the map will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

4. Hacks, Exploits and Third-Party Software​

4.1 Exploiting

This category includes:

• Using exploits, bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage
• Attempting to glitch through doors, walls, floor or otherwise to bypass intended gameplay obstacles.
• Abusing promo codes on accounts that are not intended for playing or created solely for this purpose

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 7 to 30 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

4.2 Third-party software

This category includes:

• Using or distributing unauthorized software programs or tools that clearly provides an advantage over other players
• Posting links to cheats, hacks, etc
• Explaining to others how they can perform cheats, hacks etc

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 10 to 60 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

4.3 File Modifying

This category includes:

• Any modification of game files to gain unfair advantage over other players
• File switching, which may result in gameplay changes
• Modifying the user interface of our client

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 1 days.
- Account ban for 7 days.
- Account ban for 30 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

4.4 Hacking

This category includes:

• Hacking another player's account to gain unauthorised access
• Posting links to malicious viruses / programs, which may cause the player to lose his account

One of these measures will be taken against a player found to have violated this rule:
- Account ban for 14 days.
- Permanent ban of all accounts belonging to the player.
More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.
